This directory contains data files and documentation for controlled terminology

used by the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) to support

the Digital Data Flow (DDF) project.  It represents all DDF controlled

This directory contains data files and documentation for controlled terminology

used by the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) to support

the Trial Master File (TMF) project.  It represents all TMF controlled 

terminology developed and in production to date. Additional terminology will be 

developed on an ongoing basis; those future additions to the terminology set will 

be handled via the CDISC terminology change request and maintenance process.

Background:



The Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) is an open, non-profit organization 

that develops and supports global data standards to improve the quality and interoperability 

of data in medical research and healthcare. CDISC partners with NCI Enterprise Vocabulary Services 

(EVS) to develop and support controlled terminology for all CDISC standards initiatives.
